Angered by her inability to destroy all of Roika, she plagued the lands with these foul beasts. Shade and her monsters succeeded in taking over all of Madrigal. She was subsequently defeated by 8 brave heroes who all rose to the challenge, restoring peace to the land. Shade is now dead, but monsters that she created still exist. In fact, they seem to be growing stronger and greater in number. I'm here in the hopes of uncovering some sort of answer. Research is difficult with the constant threat of Tombstone Bearers around. Will you please help buy me some time by defeating them?"
