The following is a summary of the changes made in the update to Version 16
Version: 16
Title: V16 Rise of the Muran
Release Date: November 30, 2010
Updates:
- New CS Isle accessible with Traseia Ticket.
- Mobs are called the Terrorpin Tribe, and range from level 116 to 126, including the level 127 boss: Guan Yu Heavyblade.
- New free-zone to the north of the Valley of the Risen
- Contains a new fully-npc'd city called (Eillun)
- Home to the Friendly Muran, and the hostile Lykan Tribe, a set of masquerpets from level 129 to 134, along with Chief Keokuk
- Two Chained Quests: Stopping the powerful Lykan Advancements and preventing the return of Ankou Kaillun Quest Office
3rd Job Evolution (Third Job Classes)
- Characters who reach level 130 can complete their respective third job evolution
- Single-path evolutions for each of the eight second jobs introduce new skills and equipment.
- New instanced dungeon comes with tremendously powerful masquerpets and a super boss (god) (God of Death) Ankou
- Ankou drops Muran Shields and Weapons
New Weapons & Shields
- These are all Baruna-Classed weapons; see Baruna Upgrade System
- Skill Shields
- Risen's Armory
- Muran Shields and Weapons
- A new system by which is the only way to upgrade Baruna-Classed equipment
- Uses Stone of Balance and Blessing of Baruna to upgrade from +0 to +20
- Failed upgrades can result in a downgrade
- Baruna Weapons cannot be upgraded in any of the following ways:
- Awakened
- Ultimate
- Pierced
- Reduced
- Elemented
- Jewel-Socketed
- Guild houses can be upgraded to "advanced" by bidding on periodically auctioned guild marks located throughout Madrigal
- Once a guild obtains an advanced guild house, they control the guild mark for as long as they maintain monthly upkeep
- Costs increase from 2.4m/day to 4.8m/day
- Can enter the advanced guild house either via the door near the corresponding guild mark, or via the Guild House Manager NPC
- Can undertake guild quests to unlock up to three rooms within the guild house
Map Updates
- New Interactive Map
- The map system has been totally revamped
- It now features a resizable windowed map
- Contains drop-down menus to select by regions, towns, and/or to show enemy/npc information
- Can create up to 20 markers and copy their locations to chat
Item Linking Feature
- Ctrl+Click on any item in your inventory
- This copies the item name in color, to the chat
- Example: <Ultimate Lusaka's Bow+8>
- Other plays can click on the item link in the chat to see details of the item

Version 16 Patch Notes
List of changes since the conclusion of v16 beta
- Advanced Guild House System is now functioning but there may be unpredicted problems with the current bidding system. Attention is being paid to this particular system and the developers are looking at ways to make the system work smoothly.
- Various Text corrections.
- Baruna Weapons no longer say "Awakening Available."
- Interesting caveat with this: The devs are aware that piercings and awakenings are an important component to all Flyff's weapons. More info will be forthcoming as it is made available to us.
- Map Drop Downs have been improved
- INCA has supplied a fix for the disconnection issue. -Unfortunately this will be implemented NEXT WEEK and not today. Users may encounter the disconnect issue from v15 throughout the next 7 days.
- Fixed a critical crash bug associated with the quest Rudvihil's Request
- Fixed a rare crash bug with the Mantle of the Raven and Plume of the Dove wings.
- Issues with 3rd Job Change not being recognized as a Hero have been addressed.
- Mentalists no longer walk on the ground with the rest of you peasants.
- Removing BG effects no longer removes vital assets.
- Improved UI of Baruna Upgrade Menus
- Using a restat after Level 130 no longer cause a loss of Stat Points.
- Fixed the issue where Baruna Weapons were not scaling properly.
- LOLOLOLOL Heaven's Gate does not grant a bajillion defense at level 10.
- A second channel has been added to Traseia.
- A channel has been removed from Coral Island to accomodate the new channel in Traseia.

- Perfect block works with Dragon's Rage
- Dark Illusion has been returned to it's original state.
- Slayer
- Weapon requirements have been removed from all 3rd job skills.
- Blessing of War duration has been increased to 5 minutes.
- Templar
- Heart of the Tower duration has been increased to 5 minutes.
- Harlequin
- Mind's Eye duration has been increased to 5 minutes.
- Whisper Dodge duration has been increased to 5 minutes.
- Crackshooter
- Devastating Sting duration has been increased to 5 minutes.
- Farsight duration has been increased to 5 minutes.
- Spirit of the Hawk duration has been increased to 5 minutes.
- Seraph
- Heaven's Step duration has been increased to 5 minutes.
- Divine Prosperity duration has been increased to 5 minutes.
- Raiment of Rhisis duration has been increased to 5 minutes.
- Force Master
- Bubble's Blessing duration has been increased to 5 minutes.
- Bubble's Blessing casting range has been reduced. (no more cross continent buffs /ridi)
- Ire of Ibilis duration has been increased to 5 minutes.
- Ire of Ibilis casting range has been reduced.
- Shade's Calamity duration has been increased to 5 minutes.
- Shade's Calamity casting range has been reduced.
- Touch of Rhisis duration has been increased to 5 minutes.
- Touch of Rhisis casting range has been reduced.
- Arcanist
- Echoes of the Weary Duration has been increased. Duration is dependant on skill level now.
- Mentalist
- Laughter of La Croix duration standards have been changed. The level of the skill now directly affects the effect duration.
- Samedi's Embrace duration standards have been changed. The level of the skill now directly affects the effect duration.
- Kriminel's Hand duration standards have been changed. The level of the skill now directly affects the effect duration.
- Aether Grasp has a cooldown and the damage has been reduced.
Additionally, keep in mind that we are still working with our developers over at Gala-Lab on these skills. They are aware of Sword Cross, and we are also revisiting all of the old skills to find out which ones need work, and which one's don't. We cannot and will not promise any outcomes as again, we're still in discussions with our devs, along with the other territories that publish Flyff. Every single entity involved with the process has a say, and sometimes this works for better or for worst, but decisions are made to accommodate not just us, but the other publishers as well - please understand this. We're always doing our best for you the community, but we do have our procedures to follow and we have a system that we must work within.
