28 August 2012

Event:

Client Updates:

  • Previously "revised attack and defense calculations related to elements" have been reverted back to the way it was originally.
  • Saturday Guild Sieges have been reverted back to the original 12:00PM schedule.
  • Minor update for certain menus and buttons in the Guild Warehouse.
  • Added assets for future sales and events.
  • Minor text changes.

Client Updates

  • A small number of players will have their Skill points reverted due to an issue caused by last week's maintenance. Unfortuantely this isolated group of players will need to redistribute their skill points, but will be able to do so successfully with this patch.
  • Fixed the text on a few guild menu buttons.
  • Fixed a graphical glitch involving a character's position not displaying correctly in Windows mode.
  • Revised attack and defense calculations related to elements on weapons and armor.
  • Added assets for future sales and events.
  • Minor text changes.

Client Updates:

  • Various items lost in the mail at the end of July (July 21st-July 28th) will be reimbursed to players.
  • Fixed a graphical issue wtih transmuted head peices.
  • Fixed an issue where brooms were displaying the wrong speed.
  • Fixed an issue with Reskills not working properly. NOTE: All skills have been reset, please redistribute your skill points!!!
  • Fixed the text on numerous menu buttons.
  • Various text changes

  • The Systems Window tab has returned. A new button has been added to the chat box.
  • A large number of timed items will be reimbursed to Tanukians who had lost their timed consumables during the downtime of July 28th - July 29th.
  • Bubble Time now has a buff icon that displays when active.

Client Updates:

  • Guild Siege will now be held on Wednesdays as well as Saturdays. Applications will close at Noon. (Wednesday siege times will be the same as Saturday Siege.)
  • Guild Siege rewards have received a major overhaul. (Blue Chip Merchant) Kooromi in Eillun will now be accepting Blue Chips rewarded to winners of Guild Siege. Gold chips which can be received from boxes that (Blue Chip Merchant) Kooromi rewards can also be traded to him for a variety of items.
  • Patcher skin has received a minor tweak.
  • Tanuki will be receiving a 2x EXP event that ends on August 2nd, 11:59 PM PST.
  • Added a Flyff logo to display while the game client loads.
  • Fixed numerous blank text.
  • Shields purchased through the FlyForFun Coupon Pang will now only sell for 1 penya.
  • Revised numerous NPC exchange menus to display the actual items. Hover over the item images to view their tooltips.
  • Fixed an issue where the trade window would not close after attempting to purchase Red Chips.
  • The quest item Piece of the Third Journal can now be garbaged

  • Fixed a missing character animation that was causing client crashes in some uncommon situations.
  • Fixed a missing hand animation that was causing an unusual graphical glitch.
  • Fixed a few buttons that looked like they were from V18.
  • Added a system message to show up when a player attempts to use an item that is not in his/her inventory. Don't ask how that's possible, it's magic ;)
  • Text changes.

  • An issue with being able to receive penya from Madrigal’s gift multiple times has been resolved.
  • Red FlyForFun Coupon Pang - To distinguish him from his pal standing right next to him!
  • Is has been renamed to Vaelishe. She needed a name change. Is was just too…Is?
  • An issue with exchanging coupons with the FlyForFun Coupon Pang has been resolved. He will now accept the proper amount of coupons during an exchange.
  • A rare issue with Guild House furniture buffs not showing up has been resolved.
  • The max level of ALL office quests have been changed to 150.
  • Wiki Note: Element, 7% and (A) Cards can now be received from the FLYFF Coupon Shop
  • Wiki Note: NPC - Hair Designer no longer in-game, his services have been added to the Makeup Artist

  • The Road to Flyff Gold Level Up Event continues. The event had ended prematurely but will continue up to the launch of Flyff Gold.
  • The Flyff Music Festival Event kicks off! Collect rare magical musical notes, and even a rockstar's guitar for various precious rewards including a new Flying Guitar Board! Check the forums for more info! Ends July 5th! Visit forums for details!
  • An all new Cheer EXP Event begins! Stay logged into the game for 1 hour and receive 1 Cheer Point. Use this cheer point to Cheer a friend and that person will get 3x EXP for the duration of the Cheer! Ends July 26th! Visit forums for details!

  • Resolved a rare issue with Knight's drawing skill; previously this skill would cause a crash.
  • Resolved a rare issue where users would randomly disconnect in instanced dungeons.
  • You may no longer cheat in the Rainbow Race by using the Guild House Teleporter.
  • Oh, and the Guild House Teleporter works as intended now. Ya.
  • Lots of text changes.
