- "This is Bartholomew Hunt's diary. Yes he was the human ancestor that resided in Eillun. Oh you want me to put back this diary together and make readable? Unfortunately what you ask is no easy task. I can't possibly repair it unless the other pages and parts are recovered. Don't fret though, there is a way! Among the Lycan tribes in the grasslands there are powerful magicians. They possess these mystical skulls that may help to recover the diary with their magics. In order to repair this diary I will need one of those skulls. Yes you'll need to take it from a slain Mage Redcloud."

- "I fear I may never see my home again. Our last three attempts at crossing the Valley of the Risen have been met with disaster. The Risen are just too dangerous and the Muran are feeling doubtful about my return as well…" I see, I see…it appears that the Muran had sealed off the entrance to the valley. They let Hunt and his companions stay, but they were never able to return. How tragic… Hmmm, interesting. Hunt's journey's did not stop. It appears that he decided to set out in search of even more lands. If what this diary says is true, there may be descendants of Hunt out there right now! Amazing! We need to find them if this is the case. Think of what else we might learn! Please, we've asked so much of you, but can you go back to Kaillun and do some detective work?"

You don't look like you can even hold your own on the battlefield, much less survive in Kaillun for more than a few minutes. The Lycan tribe are a dangerous bunch indeed. You are very insistent! - "Holy crap! Seriously? I uh, yes this is his heart. Crazy! Well I'll keep my promise. All I know is from what my mother told me ages ago. Some adventurers from Hunt's line went Northwest one day. They were searching for some cave... My mother said that a few came back, but it wasn't good. They apparently said something about some unspeakable creatures living there inside the cave…I don't exactly know what that means though. Sounds like a hoax I'm sure, but I mean it was ordered that the cave be sealed and that anyone was forbidden from approaching it. Check it out if you want, but I would advise against it. You've already proven your strength, don't waste it by dying."
