30 August 2011

Events:

  • The Colosseum Exchange Manager Rambo will now be accepting tokens in exchange for his previous list of trade in boxes. Note that the exchange menu has not been altered since the last time he was offering exchanges.
  • The FWC Puzzle Event comes to an end. The Card Manager will still be accepting trade-ins on puzzle cards for an additional week.
  • The FWC Weekly and Monthly Quest NPCs have been removed.
  • The Rain in August Exp Event comes to an end.

New Sales:

  • We will be starting a weekly rotation of 40% and 30% off Sale items. This week's rotation includes: 40% OFF Fashion - Kai Set, Chi Set, Rising Sun Set (M) & (F), Queen of Hearts, Clown Set. 30% Off Pets - Soul Dancer, Patches. 30% Off Flying Devices - Mantle of the Raven.
  • The new Fortune Box: Venerable Fortune Box - Raffle Box B is being added to the cash shop! This fortune box features a chance at a new never before released cloak! The Venerable Cloak of the Wyrm boasts - 17% Speed, 13% Critical Chance, 13% Additional Damage on Critical Hit!
  • The amazing Back to School Sale continues!

Client Updates:

  • An uncommon bug preventing quest text from appearing in your menu has been resolved.
  • A minor visual bug preventing you from seeing some items in the bank has been resolved.
  • Added assets and resources for future sales and events.
  • Numerous Text Changes.

Client Updates:

  • The rankings for the Colosseum have been reset accross all territories. An official announcement directly from Gala-Lab will be forthcoming within the next few hours.
  • Pet beads now stack up 999 instead of 99.
  • Numerous Text Changes.

Events:

  • The FWC Attack Power and Defense Event kicks off! Up until August 23rd, all players will be treated to +300 Attack and +250 Defense!
  • The FWC Puzzle Event continues.
  • The Rain in August Exp Event continues 1.5x Exp for the month of August! An additional 1.5x on top of that whenever it rains! Enough said :3
  • WIKI NOTE: Hunt quests have been updated !!! New quests are available from each respective NPC

New Sales:

  • The awesome new Vengeful Fortune Box - Acquisition (High) with a chance to win a Vengeful Cloak of the Wyrm which provides +13% Critical Chance, +17% Speed, and +100 Attack Power is being made available for the first time ever!
  • The Ultimate Chance Box Bundle is back in the Cash Shop

Client Updates:

  • Pet beads will now be stored in the Pet Tab.
  • The FWC Exchange Manager Rambo will no longer be offering rewards. Note that this will change in the coming weeks.
  • The Masquerpet (Demonic Soul) Hel will now properly use his skills.
  • An issue preventing the Ultimate Baruna Blessing from working has been addressed.
  • Numerous Text Changes.

Events:

New Sales:

  • The following bundles are back in the Cash Shop: All Protect Bundle Pro, Amplification (50) + Azria (7) at 50% OFF, Amplification (50) + Traseia (7) at 50% OFF, Party Bundle Extreme.

Client Updates:

  • The mini maps for the Forsaken Tower and the Volkane Dungeon can no longer be seen without a Torch of Isilrute.
  • The minimum level requirement for the Aminus Dungeon has been reduced to level 80. Note that this not affect the Cursed Aminus Dungeon.
  • The minimum level requirement for The Wilds has been reduced to level 60. Note that this not affect the Savage Wilds.
  • Several in game icons for inventory items have been changed. Observe:
    • Tickets for Traseia
    • Coral Island Tickets
    • Azria Tickets
    • Activition
    • Scroll of Guild House Return
    • Boxes
    • Medicines
  • Upgraded hardware for the Yetti server.

  • A new Kargo's Fortune Box - Blessing of the Goddess is being added to the Cash Shop for a limited time. This Fortune Box also has a chance to give you the brand new Friendly Baby Kargo Buff pet!

Client Updates:

  • The Colosseum has seen a major update. Check here for the full details.
  • The [God of Death] Ankou boss will now be correctly casting spells. Yeah, he's pretty vicious now...
  • The [Demonic Soul] Hel masquerpet will now be correctly casting spells.
  • An annoying rock that was preventing players from correctly targeting and using skills on the [God of Wrath] Kalgas has been removed.
  • The Guild House Wall textures have been fixed.
  • An uncommon bug preventing the private message chat box from showing has been resolved.
  • An uncommon bug preventing the mini-map from showing has been resolved.
  • [Quest Office] Miorang will now allow players above level 140 to accept quests.
  • A rare crash involving the Wings of the Divine Prophet has been resolved.
  • A crash that occurred while summoning a pet the moment before you start flying has been resolved.
  • A rare bug allowing you to stack 6 Amp scrolls instead of 5 has been resolved.
  • A bug that would send duplicate messages in the post box has been resolved.
  • A crash related to the Scroll of Unbinding has been addressed.
  • The server hardware is being upgraded to help deal with the random channel crash bug. Note that this may not completely solve the issue.
  • Added resources to accomodate future events and sales.
  • Various text changes.

  • The Summer Flash Sale kicks off! There's a new sale every day so check out the schedule here!

Client Updates:

  • The Colosseum Drop Tables have been altered temporarily. Colosseum Masquerpets will now be dropping Sunstones, Moonstones, and various other consumables. Note that this WILL change in the coming weeks.
  • The level up icons have been updated.
  • Added resources to accomodate future events and sales.
  • Various text changes.

  • The Premium Teleport Maps are now tradable.
  • Fixed minor activation bugs with the following Baruna Runes: Berk, Zera, and Manaz.

  • A bug preventing players from installing new furinture in their guild houses has been addressed.

Events:

  • The FWC Summer of EXP continues. View the schedule and full details here.
  • The new Hunt Quests, and Monthly Collecting Quests are being introduced. Now, rotating every 2 weeks, new specific NPCs will be providing quests designed for various level groups. Additionally, every month, there will also be new NPCs that will offer collecting quests. Each of these quests will be rotated regularly so please check the forum announces for the full details. You can find details to the current set of quests here.
  • Play For Rewards has been postponed to next week.
  • The Welcome to Mocomochi 2x Exp and 2x Drops comes to an end. The login screen will be updated next week to reflect this.

New Sales:

  • The following bundles have been added back to the Cash Shop: GProtect (50) + Moonstone (12), AProtect (50) + Moonstone (12), and the Reversion Bundle (50) + Awakening (50). All 3 bundles are effectively 50% OFF!
  • The Q AMPs will continue to be in the shop for now.
  • The All Protect Bundles have been removed from the shop.
  • The Lucky Roll Bundles have been removed from the shop.

Client Updates:

  • A minor bug with the shopping cart system has been addressed.
  • The Mentalist skill Kriminel's Hand was not properly working. The issue has been resolved.
  • A display bug that sometimes occurred when 5 amps were stacked has been addressed.
  • Token's of Bravery can now be stacked up to 9999.
  • Various text changes.

  • The Welcome to Mocomochi Event for the new Mocomochi server continues! For 1 month, this server will be treated to 2x Exp and 2x Drop Rate.

New Sales:

  • The All Protect Bundles are back in the shop!
  • The Lucky Roll bundles have returned!
  • The previous sales have been extended to this weekend.

Client Updates:

  • Client Crash: Some client crashes caused by missing resources have been fixed.
  • Upgrading: Fixed an issue that caused the element upgrade success rate to change when using a Scroll of Smelting (High).
  • Cart System: Fixed an issue that caused the wrong item to be purchased in NPC shops when using the filtering options.
  • Colosseum: Updated boss drop tables. Colosseum monsters will only drop Tokens of Bravery now, which can be used at a later date to redeem special items.
  • Colosseum: Removed the last 2 rounds from Legendary Mode.
  • Advanced Guild House: Updated the bid window to be more clear about how to bid. You can bid Penya in the top slot, and Perin in the bottom slot.
  • Text: Fixed the General Store item tabs on that dude in Eillun. Forgot which one. The fuzzy one. ;)
  • Text: Fixed Jimbo the Snowman, X900 EvilTron, Mister Grizz, and Lil gPotato names.

  • The Welcome to Mocomochi! Event for the new Mocomochi server continues! For 1 month, this server will be treated to 2x Exp and 2x Drop Rate.
  • The Bonus Drop Event comes to an end.

New Sales:

  • A new Fortune Box - Scroll of XProtect (Possible Pet) has been added to the Cash Shop. This new bundle has a chance to contain a never before released Lil' gPotato Buff Pet!
  • The Buy 1 Get 1 Free Sale kicks off! Several Buy 1 Get 1 Free bundles are now available in the Special Offer's section of the Cash Shop.
  • The Scroll of Ultimate Success is back in the Cash Shop!
  • AProtect (50) + Reversion (50) Bundle has been removed from the Cash Shop!
  • GProtect (50) + Reversion (50) Bundle has been removed from the Cash Shop!
  • The Scroll of Unbinding has been removed from the Cash Shop!
  • Assorted Pet Bundles will be removed from the shop.

Client Updates:

  • All couple rings are being reset - you may now properly re-engrave them as you see fit.
  • If Advanced Guild House fees or winning bids were paid, players will automatically be reimbursed their lost penya.
  • A fix for the channel crash bug has been applied.
  • The Kargo server has been updated to have 4 channels.
  • The FWC EXP weekend schedule has been updated properly - the 3x rate will occur between 2-4 PM PST as originaly scheduled.
  • The Arcanist Mystical Lippin and the Mystical Lypine set effect bug has been fixed. The set will now properly provide the extra 100 mp as stated in it's description.
  • An uncommon crash bug has been addressed - previously, resizing the FlyFF Window sometimes caused the client to crash.
  • A minor bug with timed item displays has been addressed.
  • Minor Text Changes.
  • New assets have been added to accomodate future sales and events.


14 June 2011

Events:

  • The Bonus Drops Event begins. For the next week, the drop rate of items from Masquerpets has been increased by 50%!
  • The Premium Box Drop Event comes to an end!
  • The Welcome to Mocomochi! Event for the new Mocomochi server continues! For 1 month, this server will be treated to 2x Exp and 2x Drop Rate.

  • AProtect (50) + Reversion (50) Bundle has been added to the Item Shop!
  • GProtect (50) + Reversion (50) Bundle has been added to the Item Shop!
  • Assorted Pet Bundles have been added to the Item Shop!

Client Updates - Server Merge

  • Kargo Server: Kargo's 4th channel will be added next week. :/
  • Channel Crashes: Fixed an issue that caused some channels to crash.
  • Advanced Guild House: Due to an issue with some guilds sharing the same house, the Advanced Guild Houses will be reset and you will need to re-bid on a new Advanced Guild House during the regularly scheduled bidding window. This was originally supposed to be done during the server merge.
  • Tooltip: Timers for buffs will now appear on a seperate line in the tooltip.
  • Client Crash: Fixed a client crash that occurred when placing items in the Fashion Combination Window.
  • Kalgas Cave: Astaroth will no longer cause a client crash during a knockback.
  • Couple Rings: Couple Rings should now work properly.
  • Text: Minor text changes to the Guild Rankings window and some item duration timers.
  • Blessing of the Wiseman: Adjusted the tooltip text to reflect the actual funciton of this skill. This skill is only intended to remove Bleed, Poison, and Curse effects.


8 June 2011 (Server Merge)

Events:

  • The Premium Box Drop Event kicks off! For the next 7 days, Premium Boxes will be dropping off of any regular masquerpet levels 15 and above!
  • The Welcome to Mocomochi! Event for the new Mocomochi server kicks off! For 1 month, this server will be treated to 2x Exp and 2x Drop Rate.

New Sales:

  • The Buy 2 Get 1 Free Bundles have been brought back to the Cash Shop for the next 7 days!
  • The new Blessing of the Goddess Hipster Fortune Box with a chance to get the new Hipster Glasses (Black) which adds +7 to all stats has been added to the Cash Shop.

Client Updates - Server Merge

  • Lawolf and Aibatt have been merged together to form the new server Tanuki.
  • Mushpoie, Mia, and Clockworks have been merged together to form the new server Lykan.
  • Glaphan and Kern have been merged together to form the new server Kargo.
  • Demian has been renamed to Yetti.
  • A new server Mocomochi has been added to the official EFlyFF servers. This server will be treated to a 1 month long 2x EXP and 2x Drop event.
  • New pages to the character selection screen have been added to accomodate extra characters caused by the merge. Please note the following:
  1. Up to 9 charactesr will be saved.
  2. Characters have been reordered by level - highest to lowest.
  3. You will not be able to create new characters unless you have less than a total of 3 characters under any single account. This means that you will have to delete characters until you have less than 3 total characters under your account in order to make a new character on that same account.
  4. Common Banks will only function for characters on the first page of the character select screen.
  • Reductions can now be removed from Baruna items.
  • Right Clicking on the mini-map now works.
  • Baruna Armor Sets upgraded past +10 will now display and provide the proper set effects.
  • Rune effects will now properly work with magic skills and attacks.
  • Minor text changes.
  • New assets have been added to accomodate future events and sales.

  • The Infamous Buur is back! Throughout the next 7 days, these cute and frosty critters will be freezing up Madrigal. Hunt them down for some cool loot!

Client Updates

  • You will now be able to successfully remove reductions from equipment. Note that this is still not fixed for Baruna grade equipment.
  • Characters with 3rd Job classes can now be candidates for Lord.
  • Characters level 140 and up will now be able to enter instanced dungeons and the Volkane dungeon.

  • New assets have been added to accomodate future events and sales.

Client Updates - V17: Champions of Madrigal:

  • The Colosseum has been added to Saint Morning accross all servers. Full details can be viewed here.
  • The level cap has been increased to level 150. Note that levels 140-150 will be experiencing numerous bugs until they are addressed. Currently you will be unable to enter instanced dungeons past level 140 among many things. More info can be found here.
  • 8 new Baruna Grade Armors have been introduced. Information regarding these armors can be found here.
  • The Bahara Desert region has been discovered to the west of Eillun. Full details can be found here.
  • The Kalgas Cave instanced dungeon has been discovered in the Bahara Desert. Full details can be found here.
  • New masquerpets roam the newly discovered areas. Furthermore, these new monsters now behave with a new group artificial intelligence system. Full details on both the new monsters and this AI system can be viewed here.
  • The Baruna system has seen some significant updates including a new rune socketing system. Full details can be found here.
  • New tabs have been added to the inventory menu to increase storage space.
  • Graphical enhancements to the element glow for weapons have been made.
  • A cart system has been added to NPC shops.
  • A reset button has been added to the options menu to revert to default settings.
  • Numerous changes to the First and Second Job quests have been made. Full details on these changes can be found on the official Flyff Wiki.
  • A slew of new quests have been added.
  • Numerous text changes.
  • Several new items have been added to accomodate future events and sales.

Events:

  • The Roanin Drop Box event kicks off! For the next 7 days, Roanin Boxes will be dropping off of any regular masquerpet level 15 and up.
  • The Sunstone and Moonstone Drop Event comes to an end.
  • The Sweet Bunny event officially comes to an end.

New Sales:

  • The following Fortune Boxes have been added to the Cash Shop: Fortune Box - Pet Reversion (Raised Pets) and the Fortune Box - Scroll of Reversion. They're cheap and you've got a great chance to get some cool stuffs!

Client Updates:

  • Minor text changes.
  • The inventory icons for Pieces, Shards, Splinters, Fragnments, and Remnants of Order have been changed.
  • Fixed an issue with the Great Clockworks War 2nd Quest.
  • Players will now be able to attack flying monsters while riding Piyoko.
  • Previously the skill EVA Storm would remove the Sleeping debuff from monsters. Now, masquerpets will stay asleep when EVA Storm is cast on them.
  • Added new assets to accommodate future events.
  • Some client optimization has been performed.
