19 April 2011

Events:

New Sales:

  • The new Scroll of Amplification Q (30 Days) which gives the user +200% exp (can be stacked up to 5x) and the new Scroll of Amplification R (30 Days) which gives the user +100% exp (can be stacked up to 5x) debut in the cash shop. Note that the timers on these new amp scrolls will continue to count down even when you are logged off.
  • Additionally, the following bundles have been brought back at 50% OFF: the GProtect (50) + Reversions (50), the AProtect (50) + Reversions (50), and the Amplification (50) + 1 Day Azria (7).

Client Updates:

  • Minor text changes.
  • Fixed a rare text glitched that made your chat window blank.
  • Udi will now create Chaos Gems and Stones of Order correctly.
  • Resolved a crash caused by clicking on certain quests in your quest window.
  • Added new assets to accommodate future events.

New Sales:

  • This week in sales it's all about pets! The following bundles are back in the shop and are discounted anywhere between 30-50% OFF: Pick-up Pet Upgrade Kit, Pet Reversion Bundle (30) + FREE Pet Energy, Pet Reversion Bundle (30) + FREE Pet Energy, Pet Tamer Customization Bundle PRO +3 Myst. Bags!
  • Additionally, some select pets at 20% OFF along with 4 new pet bundles can be found in the Pets section of the Cash Shop.

Client Updates:

  • Minor text changes.
  • An issue preventing players from using certain event items has been addressed.
  • An issue that caused 2 blinkwings to be consumed instead of 1 when activated has been addressed.
  • An issue that caused specific timed items to display crazy durations has been addressed.
  • Note that the Master Teleporter for the Advanced Guild house still does not work. It will still work for the small guild house. The developers are aware of this issue and are doing their best to make a hot fix. News on this issue will be forthcoming once it is resolved.
  • Added new assets to accommodate future events.

Events:

  • The Sunstone + Moonstone drop event kicks off! For the next 7 days, event sunstones and event moonstones will be dropping off of any regular masquerpet level 15 and up.
  • The Level Up Event and the Attack Power event have been extended for one more week. These two events will end on April 12th.
  • The Spring Break events (2x Exp event, 1.5x Drop event, and the Treasure Box Drop events) come to an end. :(

New Sales:

  • 4 new Lucky Roll bundles have been added to the Cash Shop. Those bundles are: Goddess Blessing(10) + Reversion(30) +LUCKY ROLL!, Scroll of Reversion (30) +LUCKY ROLL!, Blessing of the Goddess (10) +LUCKY ROLL!, Reversion (25) + Protection (25) +LUCKY ROLL! The Lucky Roll Bundles are new to the cash shop. Purchasing a lucky roll bundle will give you a chance to win extra items on top of your purchase. Check each individual bundle for details on the extra items as they vary from item to item.

Client Updates:

  • Minor text changes.
  • Minor tweaks to the flying animation for riding objects (Piyoko and bikes) have been made.
  • A bug where the Master Teleporter would only work for Advanced Guild Houses instead of Small Guild houses has been addressed. Master Teleporters will now properly work for Small Guild Houses.
  • A bug that affected the Lawolf server has been addressed. If you are a Lawolfian, please check the announcement in forums.
  • Added new assets to accommodate future events.

  • The Buy 2 Get 1 Free bundles are back in the Cash Shop!

Client Updates:

  • Numerous text changes.
  • Lusaka's Crystal Wand now displays the proper icon in your inventory.
  • The Clockworks quest has been altered to allow players up to level 150 to participate in the quest.
  • Monster spawn locations in Traseia have had very minor changes to prevent the masquerpets from falling off cliffs. No changes to the spawn rates have been made.
  • The following quests have had their Quest markers (on the map) fixed (previously the map marker was not accurate): The Quest for Kallun, One Step Towards the Muran, The Translated Letter, The Fate of Bartholomew Hunt.
  • The graphic for the Pink Fairie Wings and the Blue Fairie Wings have been altered. Please check this announcement for detail.
  • Added new assets to accommodate future events.

  • The Scroll of Amplification P (7 Days) has been brought back to the Cash Shop for a limited time.
  • The Ultimate Blessing of Baruna is being added to the Cash Shop. This scroll protects against both the loss of an upgrade level as well as the baruna item itself during the upgrade process.
  • The XProtect (50) + Sun/Moon (12) combo has been brought back to the Cash Shop for a limited time at 50% OFF!.
  • The SProtect (50) + Sunstone (12) combo has been brought back to the Cash Shop for a limited time at 50% OFF!

Events:

  • The White Day Event kicks off. The Love Spirit Angel and the Hate Spirit Demon from Valentine's Day are back! This time there's some sort of romance going on between the two and there's a quest involved to help them out.
  • The Buur Invasion kicks off. This is the final player designed masquerpet by pohser_ and this cute little bugger will be running loose throughout Madrigal.
  • The Go For Broke Dice Play and Rock Paper Scissors event comes to an end.
  • The Premium Box Drop Event comes to an end.

New Sales:

  • The following items are being added to the Cash Shop: The Scroll of Unbinding which allows you to trade soul linked items, and the Blessing of Baruna which will protect your Baruna item from being destroyed

Client Updates:

  • Numerous Text changes.
  • Skill Change - Slayer - First Blood now uses FP instead of MP.
  • An issue where the NPC Rankashu would not provide you with a ticket to enter the Dekane Mine's Dungeon has been addressed. The dwarpet will now correctly provide the quest item.
  • A graphical issue where other players would still see you as flying even though you had removed a flying device has been addressed.
  • Added new assets to accommodate future events.

Events:

  • The Love or Hate event officially comes to an end. Boxes for both the Angel and Demon have been distributed.
  • The Go For Broke Dice Play and Rock Paper Scissors event continues. The Mayor will now be accepting Snow Crystals in exchange for RPS coupons.
  • The Premium Box Drop Event kicks off. For the next 7 days, Premium Boxes will be dropping off of any regular masquerpet level 15 and up.
  • The Let's Play 1.5x Exp Event comes to an end!

  • The Love or Hate event comes to an end. Unfortunately there was a problem updating this event during maintenance. Please hold on to your tickets as the boxes will be rewarded during next week's maintenance. The boxes will be rewarded 1 box to every 1 ticket.
  • The Let's Play 1.5x Exp Event kicks off! For 1 week and ending on the 1st of March, players will be treated to 1.5x the normal exp rate.
  • The Go For Broke Dice Play and Rock Paper Scissors event continues.Wiki Note: The Mayor Quest, part of the Rock Paper Scissors Event is missing o.o Hope it will be fixed soon !!!

New Sales:

  • The following bundles have been added to the Cash Shop for 1 week: The Amplification (50) +1 Day Azria (x7) (50% OFF) and the Enhanced Party Skill Range (4) + FREE Extra Bag (25% OFF).
  • The SProtect (50) + Sunstone combo and the XProtect (50) + Sun and Moon combo will stay in the Cash Shop until Friday the 25th.

  • Last week there was an erroneous change to the base stats of some of the instanced dungeon bosses like Drakul. They have been reverted back to their original state and will not act like they are on performance enhancing substances.

  • Templar
    • Sky Splitter has received a significant damage increase.
    • Shield Bash has received a significant damage increase.
    • Maelstrom Strike has received a significant damage increase.
  • Slayer
    • Deadly X has received a significant damage increase. Skill costs have been changed to FP and overall costs have been reduced: Level 1 - 5 respectively - 100 fp, 150 fp, 200 fp, 250 fp, 300 fp.
    • Cross of Blood has received a significant damage increase. Skill costs have been changed to FP and overall costs have been reduced: Level 1 - 5 respectively - 100 fp, 150 fp, 200 fp, 250 fp, 300 fp.
    • Blessing of War has received a significant cost reduction but still currently uses MP. Wiki Note: Confusing!!! Thought it was always fp!!! :S
    • First Blood's rooting effect is much longer now. At level 1 duration of root is 48 seconds. At level 5 duration of root is 60 seconds. Skill costs have been changed to FP and overall costs have been reduced: Level 1 - 5 respectively - 100 fp, 150 fp, 200 fp, 250 fp, 300 fp.
  • Force Master
    • No changes have been made.
  • Seraph
    • Heaven's Step's boost to speed has been significant'y increased for each level.
    • Breath of Life has had it's casting costs reduced significantly. This spell's MP costs have been effectively cut in half.
    • Priest's Grasp's rooting effect has been significantly improved. At level 1 duration of root is 48 seconds. At level 5 duration of root is 60 seconds.
  • Crackshooter
    • Condor Dive has received a very significant damage boost. Additionally, this skill uses MP instead of FP, and costs have been significantly reduced. Levels 1-5 respectively: 80 mp, 100 mp, 120 mp, 140 mp, 160 mp.
    • Devastating Sting now uses MP instead of FP and costs have been significantly reduced. Levels 1-5 respectively: 50 mp, 70 mp, 90 mp, 110 mp, 130 mp.
    • Farsight now uses MP instead of FP and costs have been significantly reduced. Levels 1-5 respectively: 50 mp, 70 mp, 90 mp, 110 mp, 130 mp.
    • Spirit of the Hawk now uses MP instead of FP and costs have been significantly reduced. Levels 1-5 respectively: 80 mp, 100 mp, 120 mp, 140 mp, 160 mp.
  • Harlequin
    • Harlequin's Greeting has received a significant damge increase. Additionally FP costs have been greatly reduced. Levels 1-5 respectively: 80 mp, 100 mp, 120 mp, 140 mp, 160 mp. Wiki Note: confusing say fp then gives it in mp costs!!!
    • Mind's Eye has had it's FP costs greatly reduced. Level's 1-5 respectively: 50 fp, 70 fp, 90 fp, 110 fp, 130 fp.
    • Whisper Dodge has had it's FP costs greatly reduced. Level's 1-5 respectively: 50 fp, 70 fp, 90 fp, 110 fp, 130 fp.
    • Pandemonium has received a signigicant damage increase. Additionally FP costs have been greatly reduced. Levels 1-5 respectively: 80 mp, 100 mp, 120 mp, 140 mp, 160 mp. Wiki Note: confusing say fp then gives it in mp costs!!!


  • Mentalist
    • Crimetiere's Scream has received a significant damage increase.
    • Aether Grasp has had a very significant damage increase.
  • Arcanist
    • Spectral Javelin has received a very significant damage increase.
    • Astral Moon has received a very significant damage increase.
    • EVA Storm has receieved a very significant damage increase.
    • Echoes of the Weary has been confirmed to have a 100% success rate with the max duration of the sleep at 60 seconds.

  • The Hunt for Saphyryan kicks off. Rare mystcal but majestic beasts will be wandering throughout Madrigal. Created and designed by kitkate, this is the 3rd of the 4 player designed Masquerpets.
  • The Love or Hate Quest Event begins. New Love Thief masquerpets will be wandering throughout Madrigal. They will be dropping Heart Pieces to trade to the quest givers.

  • The AProtect + Moonstone Bundle and the GProtect + Moonstone Bundle is back in the cash shop at 50% OFF!

  • The FlyFFer's Fortune Event! begins! Not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 special new boxes will be dropping from Masquerpets level and up! They're uh named, FlyFFer's Fortune Box I through IV respectively...
  • The Increased Attack Power event also kicks off! All players will be receiving a global +300 bonus to their Attack rating!
  • The Sunstone and Moonstone Drop Event comes to an end.
