After a long long absence, the Master Dwarpet has sent notice to herald his return. After hearing about the Risen, after hearing about the new lands, after discovering the God of Death Ankou - a being rumored to rival Rhisis herself, the Master Dwarpet has seen the need to play god himself once again and to uncover and unleash the secrets that some mortals should never know...What does this mean? What of the dangers and moral implications? There is consequence in all things, and surely the Master Dwarpet has dug himself too deep. Some things should simply never be shared with mortals who understand so little...and yet here we are.

What is Alchemy and Event Rules:

For any questions, concerns, or suggestions about this event, please email flyff@gala-net.com or visit the FAQ for General Information.

  • The FlyFF Alchemy Event is designed as sort of a GM run Quest Event with amazing rewards.
  • Players must sign-up using the web-form which will be posted on Sunday, December 12th, 2010. Here is the link to the web form: http://flyff.gpotato.com/?m=events Sign ups will begin at 10 AM PST on Sunday and will go throughout the rest of the day. Sign ups will be closed at 11:59:59 PM PST of Sunday, December 12th, 2010.
  • Signing up DOES NOT guarantee you a spot. The maximum sign-ups allowed per server is 1,000. However, it is important to note that we will be taking the sign-ups in the following manner: The first 125 users to sign up will automatically be eligible for the event. Another 125 will be chosen at random. Total participants for the event is 250. EDITED
  • ONLY ONE sign-up per household is allowed. Multiple sign-ups from one household may be subject to removal. Evidence that one player has signed up on multiple accounts or multiple characters/servers will result in disqualification from the event, and action taken against their game accounts. So, please don’t do it.
  • There are multiple recipe categories. Each player can choose up to TWO recipes total and no more than ONE from a single category. Provided the required items are submitted, and unless otherwise noted, each recipe is only performed ONE TIME.
  • Players ARE NOT allowed to trade or mail items to another player or character in order to have multiple enhancements performed on the same item. Evidence of this occurring will be met with the harshest of penalties, and the Master Dwarpet WILL be checking.
  • The actual recipes will be posted soon and several hours before sign ups are opened. However, to explain what a recipe is - “Ritual Alchemy Recipes” are lists that consist of required in-game items players must gather and submit to the Master Dwarpet in order for him to perform “The Ritual” and apply the desired effect to the weapon, armor, pet, or create the item specified in the recipe.
  • You will have at least ONE WEEK to collect the required items for your chosen Alchemy Recipe after the the 250 participants are posted. In one week the Master Dwarpet will begin visiting one server each day to collect the quest items and apply the alchemy enchantments. The dates that the Master Dwarpet will be visiting each server will be posted either on the event sign-up page and on the global announcement for the event (this thread).
  • The lucky 250 participants for each server will be posted on Monday, December 13th, 2010.
  • The 250 participants for each server will then be summoned to the Master Dwarpet's secret lair on the day the event takes place on their server. Failure to be online during the event will result in disqualification from the event.
  • Players MUST be at least level 60 to participate in the event.
  • The Master Dwarpet will attempt to summon players two times on each server. Once at some point during the event, and should they not be available the first time, the Master Dwarpet will attempt to summon again before the end of the event. However, we will be dividing the list up into sections for players to see ahead of time. These sections will indicate an estimated time with which the Master Dwarpet will TRY to summon listed players. Please note that as the event goes on, it may not be possible to follow these listed sections accurately, but our best attempts to stay close to it will be made. These sectional lists will be posted the same day participants are announced.

NOTE: We would strongly advise anyone that is wishing to participate in this event to NOT use a Scroll of Name Change until after the event is completed. We will only be summoning the listed participants' names that were signed up with. It is not our responsibility to track you down so that you may participate in the event. Once again, please refrain from using a Scroll of Name Change if you are aiming to participate - doing so will only be detrimental to your ability to be summoned should you be lucky enough to be selected.

Event Flow:

This is a general outline of how each recipe is handled once you are summoned by the Master Dwarpet on your server's event day. If you do not have all items ready when you are summoned, you may be disqualified so please be sure you have everything you need.

1. Should you be one of the lucky 250 players to participate on your server, the Master Dwarpet Summons you to his secret lair, most likely with an entire group of other players as well.
2. Some rules are reiterated.
3. When a player's name is called, they approach the Master Dwarpet.
4. The Player then tells the Dwarpet which recipe they will be doing first. (One recipe at a time)
5. The Master Dwarpet opens trade with the player.
6. The player trades all items specified on the recipe as well as any items that need to have the recipe applied to them.
7. The Master Dwarpet takes all items and returns the items with the applied enchantment, or the created item (depending on the recipe).

Alchemy 3 Recipes

WEAPONS

Slightly Stinky Concoction of Weapon Smelting (Low)

This ancient material alchemy technique creates a foul smelling concoction that will upgrade a normal (blue) or rare (green) weapon by +1. Effective up to +7. “Smells kinda funny…”

Slightly Stinky Concoction of Weapon Smelting (High)

This ancient material alchemy technique creates a foul smelling concoction that will upgrade a normal (blue) or rare (green) weapon by +1. Effective up to +10. “Oh that's just nasty...”

Unstable Concoction of Weapon Smelting (Low)

This ancient material alchemy technique creates a severely unstable concoction that will upgrade an Ultimate Weapon by +1. (Unfortunately this does not include Vampire, Ancient, and Crystal Lusaka weapons). Effective up to Ultimate +6. “I wouldn’t stand so close to it if I were you…”

Unstable Concoction of Weapon Smelting (High)

This ancient material alchemy technique creates a severely unstable concoction that will upgrade an Ultimate Weapon by +1. (Unfortunately this does not include Vampire, Ancient and Crystal Lusaka weapons). Effective up to Ultimate +9. “If you can read this, you’re probably already a pile of dust…”

Radical Ritual of Weapon Transmutation

This newly designed ritual will transmute (transform) a specific grade weapon into the next grade of weapon. For example, you may exchange any Guardian weapon and the Master Dwarpet will transmute it into an Historic Weapon; or you may exchange a Legendary Weapon and receive a Bloody Weapon in return; or you may exchange a Bloody Weapon and receive a Vampire or Crystal Lusaka Weapon. The lowest grade of weapon you can exchange is any level 55 to 60 weapon, and in return you shall receive a Guardian Weapon. The exchanged weapon will be destroyed and only the upgrade stat and the element stat will transfer. Piercings and awakenings will be lost. A sacrificial weapon will be required, and the new weapon will be of the same type as the sacrificial one. (E.g. A 1h axe for a 1h axe, a 2h sword for a 2h sword and so on.) The maximum possible transmutation will be to a Vampire or Crystal Lusaka weapon. Note that there is an extra ingredient depending on what level you are upgrading to (for example going from Guardian to Historic will require an easier ingredient than if you were to go from a Bloody to a Vampire or Crystal Weapon.

Additional Required Ingredient:

  • Twinkle Stone x198 (to go from a level 55 or level 60 weapon to Guardian)
  • Mong Tear x50 (to go from a Guardian Weapon to Historic)
  • Popshift x99 (to go from a Historic Weapon to an Angelic)
  • Dragon Heart x75 (to go from an Angelic to Legendary)
  • Poison Bag x99 (to go from Legendary to Bloody)
  • Hundur Skull x99 (to go from Bloody to Crystal or Vampire)

ARMOR

Aerodynamic Armor Adhesive

It’s funny how a little magic glue can enhance your armor, isn’t it? This Aerodynamic Armor Adhesive increases the armor upgrade value of ONE armor piece by +1. Effective up to +10.

Enhanced Aerodynamic Armor Adhesive

It’s funny how a little magic glue can enhance your armor, isn’t it? This Enhanced Aerodynamic Armor Adhesive increases the armor upgrade value of ONE armor piece by +3. Effective up to +10.

Radical Ritual of Armor Transmutation

Similar to the Radical Ritual of Weapon Transmutation, this ritual and incantation will transform any rare armor set or any level 71armor set into the next grade of rare armor set. Requires a sacrificial set. For example, you may submit a Ringmaster level 90 Shupon set to the Master Dwarpet and he will transmute it into your choice of either of the level 105 Rimyth Set or Navil Set. The Master Dwarpet will only be taking full sets and not pieces. Furthermore, only the upgrade stat and the element stat will carry over; awakenings and piercings will be lost. Transmuted armor sets must also belong to the same sex and same job of the sacrificed armor set. Maximum possible transmutation will be to the 120 Red Chip Armor Sets. The possible transmutations are as follows: Level 71 set -> Rare level 75 set -> Rare level 90 set -> Rare level 105 set -> 120 Red Chip Armor set. While this recipe affects all pieces of an armor set, using this recipe will only count as single categorical recipe. Note that there is an extra ingredient depending on what level you are upgrading to (for example going from a level 71 set to a 75 set will require an easier ingredient than if you were to go from a 105 set to a Red Chip set.

Additional Required Ingredient:

ACCESSORIES

Sticky Accessory Refining Goo

This strange goo is applied to any accessory (Capable of being upgraded) and increases its upgrade level by +1. Effective up to +16. Requires at least a +3 accessory. (v15 Jewelry included)

Super Sticky Accessory Refining Goo

This strange goo is applied to any accessory (Capable of being upgraded) and increases its upgrade level by up to +1. Effective up to +18. Requires at least a +16 accessory. (v15 jewelry include)

  • In order to upgrade the item, a sacrificial item must be given to the Dwarpet. The sacrificial item must be the same accessory, at any level of upgrade, as the accessory that the Dwarpet will refine.

Pleasantly Smelling Colorless Concoction of Accessory Conversion

This strange new potion, when applied to any single piece of normal jewelry (non v15,) will transmute the given item into the player’s choice of any other normal jewelry (non v15). Upgrade stats will carry over. For example, a Demol Earring +12 may be converted in a Gore Necklace +12 or a Vigor Ring +12. This recipe, however, does not transmute into the following: speedos, Shubrin Rings, Meteofys, Meteors, or the quest item Puran Necklace. This recipe also only applies to a single piece of jewelry and will not work on accessories +19 or +20.

Terrible Twilight Transmutation Fluid

This strange new fluid mix is similar to the above Pleasantly Smelling Colorless Concoction of Accessory Conversion in that it will transform any piece of v15 Jewelry (Defender’s, Adept’s, Marksman’s, or Champion’s) into any other single piece of v15 jewelry. Upgrade stats will carry over.

A Dash of Twilight, A Touch of Darkness, and Some Chemical X Recipe

This amazing new fluid, when applied to 3 same name non v15 jewelry pieces will melt them down into an alloy with which the Master Dwarpet will forge a single +12 v15 accessory (Defender’s, Adept’s, Marksman’s, or Champion’s) of the same type (Earring to Earrings of your choice, necklace to necklace of your choice, rings to ring of your choice) E.G. Trade the recipe items to the Master Dwarpet along with say 3 Gore Necklaces +4, +5, and +6, and he will transform them into a Champion’s Gore Necklace +12 or a Defender’s Gore Necklace +12. Sacrificed jewelry for this process must be at least +4 or above, and all 3 sacrificed jewelry must be of the same name. While you may sacrifice jewelry higher than +12, the Master Dwarpet will only be returning a single v15 accessory at +12.

MISCELLANEOUS

Note that you may actually select more than one recipe from this category if you so choose. While you are still only allowed to use any given recipe once, this is the one category where you may do up to two different options.

Alchemist Card Retrieval

The Alchemist uses his kooky powers to yank all cards out of any pierced suit, weapon or shield. This results in the destruction of the item, but the cards are returned to the player.

The Dwarpet’s Rare Candy

Hmmm this doesn’t seem right…but the Master Dwarpet would like to give your special cherished CS Pick-up Pet or Buff-Pet some rare candy...Allowing him to cook the candy and feed it to your pet will let your pet reach it’s full potential – all nine bead slots will be unlocked and the Master Dwarpet will even give you 3 random bead boxes. How nice…

Freaky Flashback Frothy Potion of Event Item Creation

Whoa. The Master Dwarpet has just made some green, brown and black potion with some orange froth on it. He says if you drink it something cool will happen…like you’ll have a blast from the past and all of sudden, you’ll have in your hands after you come to, a choice of any one of the following items: A St. Pattys Day Cloak, a Zombie Hunter’s Cloak, or the Matador’s Cloak.

The Alchemist’s Curiosity Killed the Dwarpet Demonic Pact Recipe

This new, out of the box and otherworldly recipe will end up teleporting you, the Master Dwarpet and some big bad nasty monsters into a nether space dimension. Once there, the Master Dwarpet will slay the following apparitions of real monsters: Drakul, Dread Drakul, Beast Khan, Beast King Khan, Kheldor, Red Meteonyker, Clockworks, Chief Keokuk, Guan Yu Heavy Blade, Lykanose, and Dread Lykanose. You will be in a party with the Master Dwarpet during this slaying and you are free to keep any experience points gained, and any loot that is dropped by any of these monsters will be yours for the taking. There are no penalties to these drops, and literally all the falls from these monsters are yours! However, the Master Dwarpet will not be held responsible should you find the item drops to be less than satisfactory. You are, however, able to activate scrolls of acquisitions during this time.
